Emergency
Handling

Hazrd Warning Flasher
Light

In case of emergency, emergency lights

are flashing to warn the opposite vehicles

and the vehicles behind you.

Push down the button to turn on the

emergency lights and push it again to turn

it off. The emergency lights work even

when the engine is shut off.

Partial Operation

Your engine control system can be

partially operated when the system is

malfunctions. However it will decrease the

engine’s efficiency.

Please have your vehicle

checked by a Chery Service

Center.

Refueling in time

Please fill the gas tank

when the fuel gauge indicates low

level of gasoline or the warning light

is on.

When gasoline reachs extreme low level,

warning light will be on. After a period of

time, the engine will run abnormally as an

additional warning. Please drive to nearest

gas station for refueling.

Not Refuel in time results in

engine stopping automatically; it

might also cause difficulty while

starting engine and even damage to

engine. In this case, you need to

make emergent call to Chery Special

Service Center for help.

Use Filler Nozzle Porperly When
Refueling

Ÿ

Filler nozzle should be inserted into

the filler pipe completely, instead of

half way.

Emergency Handling

122

Ÿ

Once an automatic filler nozzle shut

itself off, your tank is filled with

gasoline. Do not try to fill, otherwise

the gasoline might overflow the tank.

Ÿ

After refueling, remember to tighten

the fuel filler cap.

Ÿ

Comply with local legal requirement,

if you carry canned gasoline in your

vehicle.

Ÿ

Carrying canned gasoline is not

recommended for safety

consideration. They increase the risk

of fire, overflow of fuel and other

accident.

Replacing Light Bulbs

Remember to shut the engine off before

changing the light bulbs.

Do not take the light bulbs with your bare

hands, otherwise after the lights are turned

on the hand prints you leave on the bulbs

will vaporize and accumulate on the

surface of the mirror and dim the light.

Please use the same model of light bulbs.

Check before installing the new light

bulbs.

A box light bulbs in the vehicle for

replacement is recommended. Chery

Special Service Center provides all types

of light bulbs. Your vehicle should carry at

least following models of light bulbs for

replacement:
