Engine oil filter internal oil circuit
diagram

•  The oil is pumped to push open the

check valve and into the filter where
it goes through the filter element into
the main pipeline.

•  In the case of clogged filter elment,

the engine oil will push up the filter
element to actuate the relief valve,
which opens and reduces the engine
oil pressure. And then the engine oil
pressure switch is actuated and the
engine oil flows onto the crankcase
oil tray; meanwhile, the engine oil
pushes open the safety valve to flow
directly into the main pipeline and
the crank shaft and cylinder cover
assembly can still be lubricated.
