2.2、Removing brake C.

Install an installer 5 x 46 000 295 with screw

mechanism, push brake band hydraulic

cylinder head inwards. Remove snap ring

with 2 screwdrivers.

Take off brake band hydraulic cylinder cap

and brake band piston C’.

As shown on figure, remove snap ring, piston

and 2 U steel sheet spring with screwdriver.

Screw adjuster bolt out after loosening locking nut.

Pull out brake band locator rod.

2.3、Removing brake band D

Turn over transmission by 90

As shown on figure, remover cotter snap ring with 2

screwdrivers.

Remove complete brake D assembly and

diaphragm spring.

Insert air gun into oil inlet and remove

piston D using HP gas.

2.4 、 Removing central seat, brake C

assembly and oil pump

Press down the diaphragm spring of the

brake C with special tool 5 x 46 000 167.

Remove cotter snap ring with screwdriver,

then remove diaphragm spring, pressure

plate and retaining ring etc.

Insert air gun into oil inlet hole, removing piston

C using HP gas.

Remove snap ring with screwdriver.

Remove central seat snap ring.

First step: loosen pump body connecting bolts.
