IMPORTANT In the event of discrepancies between the
information provided in this “Owner’s handbook” and the
“Registration Document”, consider the specifications
shown in the log book only. For safe driving, the car must
be fitted with tyres of the same make and type on all
wheels.

IMPORTANT Do not use air chambers with Tubeless tyres.

Do NOT fit wheel caps when using integral
wheel caps fixed (with springs) to the steel
rim and after-sale tyres provided with Rim

Protector (fig. 5a). The use of unsuitable tyres and
wheel caps may cause sudden loss of tyre pressure.

On 205/55 R16-91V tyres, use reduced size snow chains with a maximum projection of 9 mm beyond
the tyre profile. On 225/45 R17-91W tyres, use reduced size snow chains with a maximum projection
of 7 mm beyond the tyre profile.

IMPORTANT Special techniques need to be adopted for 225/40 R18 92W tyres. For this reason, these tyres can only
be requested when the vehicle is purchased. Do not fit this tyre after vehicle has been purchased !

Add +0.3 bar to the prescribed pressure when the tyres are warm. Check correct pressure when the tyres are cold.
With snow tyres, add +0.2 bar to the prescribed pressure for standard tyres.
When travelling at speeds over 160 km/h, inflate the tyres to the values specified for fully laden conditions.
The TPMS is not fitted with 195/55 R16 91V tyres.

In case of emergency, if lubricants with the prescribed specifications are not available, products with the minimum indicated ACEA

performance can be used for topping up; in this case optimal performance of the engine is not guaranteed.

FLUIDS AND LUBRICANTS

Your car is equipped with an engine oil that has been thoroughly developed and tested in order to meet the requirements
of the Scheduled Servicing Plan. Constant use of the prescribed lubricants guarantees the fuel consumption and emis-
sion specifications. Lubricant quality is crucial for engine operation and duration.

FUEL CONSUMPTION

The fuel consumption values given in the table below are
determined on the basis of the type-approval tests laid
down by specific European Directives. 
The procedures below are followed for measuring con-
sumption:
❍ urban cycle: cold starting followed by driving that sim-

ulates urban use of the car;

❍ extra-urban cycle: frequent accelerating in all gears,

simulating extra-urban use of the car; speed varies be-
tween 0 and 120 km/h;

❍ combined consumption: the weighting is around 37%

urban cycle and 63% extra-urban cycle.

IMPORTANT The type of route, traffic situations, weath-
er conditions, driving style, general conditions of the car,
trim level/equipment/accessories, climate control system
use, load, roof rack, other situations that affect air drag
may lead to different fuel consumption levels than those
measured.

PRESCRIPTIONS FOR HANDLING THE VEHICLE AT THE END 
OF ITS LIFE

Lancia has been committed for many years to safeguarding the environment through the constant improvement of its

production processes and manufacturing products that are increasingly compatible with the ecosystem. To assure cus-

tomers of the best possible service in terms of respecting environmental laws and in response to European Directive

2000/53/EC governing vehicles at the end of their life, Lancia is offering their customers the opportunity of handing

over their vehicle* at the end of its life without incurring any additional costs.

The European Directive sets out that when the vehicle is handed over, the last keeper or owner should not incur any

expenses as a result of it having a zero or negative market value. In particular, in almost all European Union countries,

until 1 January 2007, vehicles registered after 1 July 2002 will be collected free of charge, whilst from 2007 collection

will be free of charge irrespective of the year of registration as long as the vehicle contains its basic components (in

particular, the engine and bodywork) and has no additional waste.

To hand your vehicle over at the end of its life without extra cost, go to one of our Lancia Dealerships or authorised

collection and scrapping centres. These centres have been carefully chosen to offer high quality service for the collec-

tion, treatment and recycling of vehicles at their end of life, respecting the surrounding environment.
