IV.

SHIPPING

A.

PREPARATION

WARNING:  HAZARD EXISTS WHEN REFUELING AND DEFUELING THE TRACTOR - NO
SMOKING, NO OPEN FLAMES, NO ELECTRICAL DEVICE OPERATIONS.

1.

Battery

(a)

Disconnect battery terminals from battery posts.

(b)

Leave battery in battery box.

2.

Radiator

Drain engine coolant from radiator and engine block  .

3.

Fuel Cell (Gasoline and Diesel Only)

(a)

Drain fuel from fuel tank into appropriate container.

NOTE:  Drain is located under tractor immediately below tank.

(b)

Disconnect fuel line at lowest readily accessible connection and drain fuel from fuel

line.

(c)

Reconnect fuel lines.

(d)

Leave fuel cap on tank, but loosened.

4.

Checks

(a)

On tractors so equipped, make certain in-line fuel shut off valve is open.

(b)

Make certain fuel line is connected.

(c)

Make certain shut-off valve on radiator is closed.

(d)

Make certain fuel cell drain valve is closed.

B.

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

WARNING:  Make CERTAIN ALL FUEL LINES ARE PROPERLY CONNECTED FROM TANK
TO FUEL PUMP TO CARBURETOR (GASOLINE) OR INJECTOR PUMP (DIESEL) .

1.

Radiator

(a)

Make certain that radiator shut-off valve is closed.

(b)

Add required amount of coolant/water mixture to radiator

Fuel Cell (Gasoline and Diesel Only)

(a)

Add fuel to fuel tank.

(b)

Check all fuel lines for leaks.

3.

Battery

Connect battery terminals to battery posts.
