REAR SUSPENSION 11.18 TYPICAL SHOCK VALVING ARRANGEMENT Shown below is an example of how valving stacks are arranged. The Production Shock Information contain production valving specifications and piston orifice sizes. * Note direction of valve piston before disassembly. The side with the greater number of slots should face the IFP (nut end of the shaft). Changing oil Shocks is recommended annually and should be included when performing end of season storage preparation. For competition use, shocks should be disassembled, inspected and serviced more frequently. |
