19. INSPECT CANISTER ASSEMBLY (CHARCOAL FILTER INSIDE CANISTER) (a) Check for filter blockage in the canister assembly
. OK: No blockages in the canister assembly. OK GO TO STEP 47 NG GO TO STEP 48 20. CHECK FUEL TANK CAP ASSEMBLY (a) Check that the fuel tank cap is correctly installed and confirm that the fuel tank cap meets OEM specifications. (b) Tighten the fuel tank cap firmly (only one click sound is heard). HINT: If an EVAP tester is available, check the fuel tank cap using the tester. Remove the fuel tank cap and install it to a fuel tank cap adapter. 1. Connect an EVAP tester pump hose to the adapter, and pressurize the fuel tank cap to between 3.2 and 3.7 2. Seal the adapter and wait for 2 minutes. 3. Check the pressure. If the pressure is 2 kPa (15 mmHg) or higher, the fuel tank cap is normal. 4.
