1. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 

a. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.  

b. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows. 

OK

If the result is not as specified, replace the motor. 

2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

a. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.  

b. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows. 

Measurement Condition

Battery positive (+) --> 1 
Battery negative (-) --> 2

Motor gear rotates counterclockwise

Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.  



The procedures listed below are for the LH side.  



A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE 
FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

1. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 

a. Apply MP grease to the sliding and rotating areas of the regulator motor.  

b. Using a T25 "TORX" driver, install the motor with the 3 screws. 

Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)

HINT: 

For a new rear window regulator, the installation position of the regulator will be set when the self-
tapping screws are installed. 

2. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

3. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear door glass sub-assembly LH (See REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear door glass sub-assembly LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

4. INSTALL REAR DOOR REAR LOWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear door rear lower window frame sub-assembly LH (See REASSEMBLY ).

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear door rear lower window frame sub-assembly LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

5. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear door glass run LH (See REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear door glass run LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

6. INSTALL REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear door service hole cover LH (See REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear door service hole cover LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

7. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 DOOR TRIM BRACKET 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear No. 2 door trim bracket (See REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear No. 2 door trim bracket (see REASSEMBLY ). 

8. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear door trim board sub-assembly LH (See REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear door trim board sub-assembly LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

9. INSTALL COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the courtesy light assembly (See REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax:
