8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 DOOR TRIM BRACKET (See DISASSEMBLY )  

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (See DISASSEMBLY )  

10. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH (See DISASSEMBLY )  

11. REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR LOWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See 

DISASSEMBLY )  

12. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See DISASSEMBLY )  

13. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH (See DISASSEMBLY )  

14. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY LH (See 

DISASSEMBLY )  

15. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH (See DISASSEMBLY )  

INSPECTION 

1. INSPECT REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH 

NOTE:



Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected 
(see INITIALIZATION ).  



After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system 
requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of 
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch 
OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from 
the negative (-) battery terminal.

a. Check the door lock motor. 

1. Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the door lock. 

OK  

DOOR LOCK MOTOR 

If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly. 

b. Check the door lock position switch. 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

a. Check the door lock motor. 

1. Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the door lock.

5. INSTALL REAR DOOR REAR LOWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See 

REASSEMBLY )  

6. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

7. INSTALL REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

8. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 DOOR TRIM BRACKET (See REASSEMBLY )  

9. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

10. INSTALL REAR DOOR ARMREST COVER LH  

11. INSTALL COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (See REASSEMBLY )  

12. INSTALL REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

13. INSTALL REAR UPPER DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL LH (See REASSEMBLY )

15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER (FOR DOUBLE CAB) 

Battery positive (+) --> Terminal 1 (UL) 

Battery negative (-) --> Terminal 4 (L)
