FOOT LIGHT - MAIN BODY ECU AND BATTERY RESISTANCE 

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR  

OK: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU  

6. INSPECT ROOM LIGHT SWITCH 

a. Remove the room light switch (see REMOVAL ).

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. 

Standard resistance  

ROOM LIGHT SWITCH 

NG: REPLACE ROOM LIGHT SWITCH (see REMOVAL ) 

OK: Go to next step

7. INSPECT ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

a. Remove the roof console box (see REMOVAL ).

b. Roof console box switch is DOOR.  

c. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 2 (B) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 

(CTY), and then check that the light turns on. 

OK: Map light turns on.  

NG: REPLACE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (see REMOVAL ) 

OK: Go to next step  

8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ROOF CONSOLE BOX - MAIN BODY ECU AND 

BATTERY) 

a. Disconnect the W7 box connector.  

b. Disconnect the DD ECU connector.

c. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

d. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
