b. Disconnect the DC ECU connector.  

c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. 

Standard resistance  

REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH LH MAIN BODY ECU 

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR  

OK: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU  

8. INSPECT REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH RH 

a. Remove the rear door courtesy light switch RH (see REMOVAL ). 

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

P6-1 - DC-2 (LCTY) Always

Below 1 ohms

P6-1 - Body ground

Always

10 kohms or higher

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG: REPLACE REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH RH (see REMOVAL ) 

OK: Go to next step  

9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH RH 

MAIN BODY ECU) 

a. Disconnect the Q6 switch connector.  

b. Disconnect the J3 ECU connector.

a. Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test".
