REMOVAL 

1. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 

a. Remove the front wiper motor and link (see REMOVAL ).  

2. REMOVE COWL TOP OUTER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

a. Disconnect the 2 washer hoses.  

b. Remove the 7 bolts and outer panel.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (see REPLACEMENT ).  

4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (see REPLACEMENT ).  

5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (see REMOVAL ).  

6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY (see REMOVAL ).  

7. DISCONNECT VENTILATION HOSE ASSEMBLY 

a. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the ventilation pipe of the cylinder head cover LH and RH.

8. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD 

a. Disconnect the 2 water bypass hoses.  

b. Disconnect the throttle body connector.
