REMOVE SUB TANK SUB-ASSEMBLY 

a

Disconnect the fuel pump connector

Using a small screwdriver, detach the claw on the end of the tube from the claw hole  Disconnect 
the tube from the 2 clamps  

HINT: 

The O-ring is installed firmly between the jet pump and sub tank  Therefore, the jet pump and sub 
tank should be removed carefully using a screwdriver that has its tip taped

Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws from the claw holes  

HINT: 

Tape the screwdriver tip before use

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws from the claw holes and remove the sub tank  

HINT: 

Tape the screwdriver tip before use  

NOTE:

Do not damage the fuel sub tank.

REMOVE FUEL PUMP

Using a screwdriver, detach the 5 claws from the claw holes and disconnect the fuel pump from the 
suction plate with filter  

HINT: 

Tape the screwdriver tip before use

Remove the fuel pump harness

Inspect the resistance of the fuel pump

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
