REMOVAL

REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY 

a

Remove the automatic transmission (see REMOVAL )

REMOVE DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR (See REMOVAL )

REMOVE REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL 

a

Using a knife, cut off the oil seal lip

Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal

INSTALLATION

INSTALL REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL 

a

Apply MP grease to a new oil seal lip

Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal until its surface is flush with the rear oil seal retainer 
edge

INSTALL DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR (See INSTALLATION )

INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY

Install the automatic transmission (see INSTALLATION )

NOTE:

Be careful not to damage the crankshaft. Tape the screwdriver tip.
