INSTALL NO. 2 AIR TUBE 

a

Temporarily install a new gasket and the No  2 air tube to the exhaust manifold side with the 2 nuts  

b

Install a new gasket and the No  2 air tube to the air switching valve side with the 2 nuts  

Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

Tighten the 2 nuts on the exhaust manifold side  

Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

Connect the air pump connector

Connect the wire harness clamp

INSTALL NO. 2 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE

Connect the air injection system hose to the air switching valve

CONNECT NO. 1 WATER BYPASS PIPE

Connect the water bypass pipe with the 2 bolts

INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH

Install the fender apron seal with the 5 clips

NOTE:

Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see 
INITIALIZATION ).

REMOVAL

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

REMOVE AIR INJECTION CONTROL DRIVER ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the 4 air injection control driver connectors  

NOTE:



Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected 
(see INITIALIZATION ).  



After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system 
requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of 
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch 
OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from 
the negative (-) battery terminal.
