INSTALL NO. 3 AIR TUBE 

a

Temporarily install a new gasket and the No  3 air tube to the exhaust manifold side with the 2 nuts

Install a new gasket and the No  3 air tube to the air switching valve side with the 2 nuts  

Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

Tighten the 2 nuts on the exhaust manifold side  

Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL NO. 2 AIR HOSE

Install the No  2 air hose

Connect the air pump connector  

NOTE:

Do not hold the bracket of the air switching valve.

Connect the fuel hose clamp

Install the fender apron seal with the 5 clips

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

AIR SWITCHING VALVE (FOR BANK 2) 

COMPONENTS 

NOTE:

Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see 
INITIALIZATION ).

REMOVAL

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

NOTE:



Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected 
(see INITIALIZATION ).  



After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system 
requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of 
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch

REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH 

a

Remove the 5 clips and fender apron seal

DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER BYPASS PIPE

Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the water bypass pipe

DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE 

a

Disconnect the air injection system hose from the air switching valve   

OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from 
the negative (-) battery terminal.  

NOTE:

Do not disconnect the hoses. If it is necessary to disconnect the 
hoses, first drain the engine coolant.
