6. Remove the reverse control lever restrictor pin plug. Discard the plug. A new plug is 

required for assembly.

7. Remove the roll pin for the reverse control lever restrictor.

8. Remove the reverse control lever restrictor.

9. For the 4WD transmission, remove the shift control shaft plug. Only remove the plug if it is 

leaking.
