Installing

Carry out following work:
– Pull door handle -2- off door in direction of -arrow a-.
– Push cover cap -1- into bearing bracket -arrow b- at a right

angle.

Removing and installing door handle

Note

Removal and installation are described only for the right door

handle. The removal and installation of the left door handle are

similar.

Carry out following work:
– Remove lock cylinder

or cover cap

– Pull door handle -1- towards rear slightly -arrow a- until it

comes out of mounting of bearing bracket.

– Swivel door handle in direction of -arrow b-.
– Remove door handle from bearing bracket at a right angle

-arrow c-.

– Pull connector (if there is one) off door handle -1-.

2. Door components

Carry out following work:
– Connect connector (if there is one) to door handle -1-.
– Seat door handle -1- in bearing bracket, whereby handle must

be at right angles to door -arrow a-.

– Swing door handle -1- into door - arrow b-.
– Slide door handle forcibly forwards -arrow c- into mounting of

bearing bracket.

– Install lock cylinder

• It is essential that a functional check is then performed with

the door open.

Removing and installing door lock

Note

Removal and installation are described only for the right door lock.

The removal and installation of the left door lock is similar.
