The procedures listed below are for the LH side.  

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH (See DISASSEMBLY )  

2. REMOVE FRONT UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL LH (w/ Power Window) (See 

DISASSEMBLY )  

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power 

Window) (See DISASSEMBLY )  

4. REMOVE FRONT LOWER DOOR FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH (See DISASSEMBLY )  

5. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Window) (See DISASSEMBLY )  

6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST COVER LH  

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See DISASSEMBLY )  

8. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )  

9. REMOVE FRONT REAR DOOR GUIDE BRACKET GARNISH LH 

a. Detach the 2 claws and remove the garnish.

10. REMOVE FRONT OUTER DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP ASSEMBLY LH 

a. Put protective tape around the weatherstrip outer.  

b. Using a moulding remover, detach the claw and remove the weatherstrip.

INSTALLATION 

HINT: 



Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.  



The procedures listed below are for the LH side.  

1. INSTALL FRONT OUTER DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP ASSEMBLY LH 

a. Attach the claw to install the weatherstrip.

2. INSTALL FRONT REAR DOOR GUIDE BRACKET GARNISH LH

a. Clean the radiator front door surface. 

1. Using a heat light, heat the front door surface.  

2. Remove the double-sided tape from the front door.  

3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.  

b. If reusing the garnish: Clean the garnish. 

1. Remove the double-sided tape from the garnish.  

2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.  

3. Apply new double-sided tape to the garnish, as shown in the illustration.

c. Install the garnish. 

1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the garnish. 

HINT: 

After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter. 

2. Attach the 2 claws in the order shown in the illustration to install the garnish.
