6. INSPECT MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY (w/ Multi-information display) 

a. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.  

b. Perform "ACTIVE TEST" or "Active Test" (see DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST ). 

HINT: 

If this Active Test is being performed and the ignition switch is turned OFF and then ON, the A/T 
and ODO/TRIP display area's background may turn white. If this occurs, end this Active Test and 
turn the ignition switch OFF. 

OK: All dots in the multi-information display turn ON and OFF using tester.  

CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS 

1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH TECHSTREAM 

a. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.  

b. Turn the ignition switch ON.  

c. Turn the tester ON.  

d. Enter the following menus: 

Techstream - Select: Customize Setting. 

e. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure 
that the function can be customized.

Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is 
set to the default setting.
