DOOR LOCK POSITION SWITCH 

If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly. 

2. INSPECT REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH

a. Check the door lock position switch. 

1. Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the door lock. 

OK

10 kohms or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly. 

b. Check the door lock position switch. 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE 
FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).  

1. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

2. INSTALL REAR DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY LH (See 

REASSEMBLY )  

3. INSTALL REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

4. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

5. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW REAR LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See 

REASSEMBLY )  

6. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

7. INSTALL REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

8. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 DOOR TRIM BRACKET (See REASSEMBLY )  

9. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

10. INSTALL REAR DOOR ARMREST COVER LH  

11. INSTALL COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )  

12. INSTALL REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

13. INSTALL REAR DOOR ARMREST UPPER BASE PANEL LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

14. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH (See REASSEMBLY )  

Battery positive (+) --> Terminal 1 (UL) 

Battery negative (-) --> Terminal 4 (L)
