1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE a. Turn the ignition switch OFF. b. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds. c. Disconnect the connectors from the center airbag sensor and the airbag cut off switch cylinder. d. Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and wait for at least 2 seconds. e. Turn the ignition switch ON. f. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard voltage TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE g. Turn the ignition switch OFF. h. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds. i. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE j. Release the activation prevention mechanism built into connector "B". k. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system requires Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition J33-1 (PMC-) - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V J33-2 (PMC+) - Body ground Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J33-1 (PMC-) - J33-2 (PMC+) Always Below 1 ohms Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J33-1 (PMC-) - J33-2 (PMC+) Always 1 Mohms or higher J33-1 (PMC-) - Body ground J33-2 (PMC+) - Body ground
