DISPLAY SIGNAL CIRCUIT BETWEEN VIDEO TERMINAL AND TELEVISION DISPLAY 

DESCRIPTION 

This is the display signal from the video terminal to the television display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE 

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY - VIDEO TERMINAL) 

W2-26 (MUTE) - Body 

ground

Ignition switch ACC, television display is 
playing --> Changing modes

3.5 V or higher --> 

Below 1 V

a. Disconnect the W2 display connector.  

b. Disconnect the T4 terminal connector.  

c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. 

Standard resistance

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to Next Step  

2. CHECK VIDEO TERMINAL

W2-6 (VV+) - T4-5 (VV+)
W2-22 (VV-) - T4-6 (VV-)

W2-25 (SGN2) - T4-7 (SG)

a. Reconnect the T4 terminal connector.  

b. Check that waveform of the display using an oscilloscope. 

OK: Waveform is as shown in the illustration.

DESCRIPTION 

This circuit sends a display signal from the television display to the navigation receiver.

RECEIVER) 

a. Disconnect the W2 display connector.  

b. Disconnect the K5 receiver connector.  

c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
