DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

NOTE:



When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized 
after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).

DRAIN ENGINE OIL (See REPLACEMENT )

REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

Remove the fan and generator V belt (See REMOVAL )

REMOVE OIL FILTER ELEMENT 

a

Remove the oil filter element (See REPLACEMENT )

REMOVE OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )  

7

DISCONNECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )  

8

REMOVE NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

Remove the 3 bolts

Remove the 4 hoses and water by-pass pipe

REMOVE NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET

Remove the 2 nuts and bracket  



After the ignition switch is turned off, the navigation system requires 
approximately 90 seconds to record various types of memory and 
settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, wait 90 
seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) 
battery terminal.
