REMOVAL 

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

NOTE:



Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected 
(see INITIALIZATION ).  



After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system 
requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of 
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch 
OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from

2. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ECU 

a. Disconnect the 2 fuel pump ECU connectors.  

b. Remove the 2 nuts and fuel pump ECU.

INSTALLATION 

1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP ECU 

a. Install the fuel pump ECU with the 2 nuts. 

Torque: 20 N*m (199 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)  

b. Connect the 2 fuel pump ECU connectors.

the negative (-) battery terminal.  

NOTE:

Make sure the fuel pump ECU is not subjected to physical shocks 
such as being dropped, etc.

NOTE:

Do not use the fuel pump ECU if it has been subjected to physical 
shocks such as being dropped, etc.
