INSTALLATION 

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR 

a. Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring, and install it to the pressure regulator.

b. While turning the pressure regulator to the left and right, install it to the delivery pipe.  

c. Install the pressure regulator with the 2 bolts. 

Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)

d. Connect the fuel return hose to the pressure regulator.  

e. Connect the vacuum sensing hose to the pressure regulator.

2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

3. CHECK FOR FUEL LEAK (see INSTALLATION )

NOTE:

Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see 
INITIALIZATION ).

REMOVAL 

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE (see REMOVAL )  

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

NOTE:



Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected 
(see INITIALIZATION ).  



After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system 
requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of 
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch 
OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from 
the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER 

a. Remove the pulsation damper, upper gasket, fuel main hose and lower gasket. 

INSTALLATION 

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER 

a. Install 2 new gaskets and the fuel main hose with the fuel pressure pulsation damper. 

NOTE:



Put a cloth or equivalent under the delivery pipe.  



Slowly loosen the pulsation damper.

NOTE:

Make sure to install the gaskets in the order shown in the illustration, 
as the shape of the upper side and lower side gaskets is different.
