AU:DTC P0607 CONTROL MODULE PERFORMANCE

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
Immediately at fault recognition
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
• Erroneous idling
• Poor driving performance

CAUTION:
After repair or replacement of faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode <Ref. to EN(H4SO 2.0)(diag)-
38, OPERATION, Clear Memory Mode.> 
and Inspection Mode <Ref. to EN(H4SO 2.0)(diag)-32, PRO-

AV:DTC P0638 THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL RANGE/PERFORMANCE 

(BANK 1)

NOTE:

TLE ACTUATOR CONTROL MOTOR CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE, Diagnostic Procedure with Di-
agnostic Trouble Code (DTC).>

CHECK INPUT VOLTAGE OF ECM.
1) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2) Measure the voltage between ECM con-
nector and chassis ground.

Connector & terminal

(B136) No. 3 (+) — Chassis ground (

):

(B136) No. 4 (+) — Chassis ground (

):

Is the voltage 10 — 13 V?

Go to step 2.

Repair the open or 
ground short cir-
cuit of power sup-
ply circuit.

CHECK INPUT VOLTAGE OF ECM.
1) Start the engine.
2) Measure the voltage between ECM con-
nector and chassis ground.

Connector & terminal

(B136) No. 3 (+) — Chassis ground (

(B136) No. 4 (+) — Chassis ground (

):

Is the voltage 13 — 15 V?

Go to step 3.

Repair the open or 
ground short cir-
cuit of power sup-
ply circuit.

CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND 
ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL.
1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2) Disconnect the connectors from ECM and 
electronic throttle control.
3) Measure the resistance of harness 
between ECM and electronic throttle control 
connector.

RHD model

Is the resistance less than 1 
Ω?

Go to step 4.

Repair the open 
circuit of harness 
between ECM and 
electronic throttle 
control connector.

CHECK ECM GROUND HARNESS.
Measure the voltage between ECM connector 
and chassis ground.

Is the voltage less than 1 V?

Repair the poor 
contact in ECM 
connector. 
Replace the ECM

AW:DTC P0691 FAN 1 CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
Detects when malfunction occurs in 2 continuous driving cycles.
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
• Radiator fan does not operate properly.
• Overheating

CAUTION:
After repair or replacement of faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode <Ref. to EN(H4SO 2.0)(diag)-
38, OPERATION, Clear Memory Mode.> 
and Inspection Mode <Ref. to EN(H4SO 2.0)(diag)-32, PRO-
CEDURE, Inspection Mode.>.

AX:DTC P0692 FAN 1 CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
Detects when malfunction occurs in 2 continuous driving cycles.
