D27DTP/D27DT (EU4)

Each pin number for D27DT engine and D27DT engine with CDPF is same. However, their engine ECUs are not
same.

With the CDPF, the functions related to the following sensors are added to the ECU pins.

1. Exhaust gas temperature sensor: ECU pin #13, #31 (front exhaust gas temperature sensor),

ECU pin #67, #68 (rear exhaust gas temperature sensor)

2. Pressure difference sensor (DP sensor): ECU pin #51, 65 and 106

3. Throttle body vacuum modulator: ECU pin #22

2. Remove the LH/RH connectors of the ECU unit.

3. Unscrew four ECU unit mounting nuts and remove the ECU unit.

Removal and Installation

Ú Preceding Work: Disconnect the battery negative cable.

1. Open the passenger’s door and remove the carpet (B) and door scarf panel (A). lift the front side of the floor mat

and cover mounting nuts on the ECU unit and remove the ECU unit cover.

• Push the fixing lever on the

connector to the front to
disconnect the connector.
