Renewal of belt pulley bearing

Remove the poly-V-belt.

Disconnect the fan and place it in the fan 
cowling.

Remove the fan bracket with belt pulley.

Remove the centre nut and washer in the 
belt pulley.

5

Remove the retaining ring on the back.

6

Press out the bearing and fan bracket using 
tool 99 250.

Pull the bearing from the fan bracket using 
tool 87 517 and 87 518.

Fitting

Press a new bearing into the belt pulley 
using tool 99 335.

Note: Do not use the belt pulley as support 
when pressing. Screw nuts onto the studs and 
use these for support.

Fit the retaining ring.

Assemble the fan bracket and belt pulley. 
Use an M14 bolt, at least 65 mm long, and 
the standard washer as a counterhold when 
tightening the fan bracket shaft in place in 
the belt pulley.

Screw in the standard bolt and washer.

Fit the fan bracket with belt pulley.

Fit the fan.

Fit the poly-V-belt.

Oil filter

Renewing the oil filter

Tightening torque

Special tools

Note: The oil cleaner must be cleaned when 
renewing the filter.

Unscrew the filter lid with a closed tool with 
hexagon driver, e.g. socket 587 637.

Note: Do not use an adjustable spanner or other 
open tool as there is risk of damaging the filter 
lid.

Lift out the filter housing lid with filter 
element. The filter housing will drain 
automatically once the filter has been 
removed.

3

Undo the old filter from the lid by carefully 
bending it to one side.
