Seal; fluid tightness of bearings, removal, fitting

Removal

Remove hub.

Remove ABS target ring

 (1).

Use tool 8511.

Distort the seal ring

 (1).

Use a screwdriver.

Remove seal ring

 (1).

Use tool 6400 + 0192.

Push back the hub.

Mark the direction of assembly.

Insert a self-tapping screw

 (1) between the plate (2) and the bush (3).

Remove passenger’s seat unit

 (2 - 3).

Use pliers.
Fitting

Carefully clean and inspect all the parts.

Fit a new seal ring

 (1).

Match the direction of assembly.

Fill the space between seal ring and bearing with grease.
