Hub, removal

The item numbers indicated in the text refer to the drawing on page .

Remove the brake caliper.

Refer to 

Disc brake ELSA 22.5 Workshop Manual.

Engage the inter-wheel diff lock before removing the half shaft and keep it engaged until the half shaft is refitted.

Remove nuts

 (A).

Remove half-shaft

 (B).

Remove lip seal

(3).

Mark the direction of assembly.

Remove circlip

 (4).

Remove washer

 (5).

Loosen nut

 (6).

Use tool 8457.

Remove washer

 (7).

Remove hub

 (8).

Use tooling

 A + B.

A = 9954

B = 8821

Remove dust guard

 (2) from the hub.
