Make-up of a fault code:

A fault code is made up of:

 * a "MID" code associated with a digital value to identify the ECU,

 * a "PID" or "PPID" or "SID" or "PSID" code associated with a digital value to identify the origin,

 * an "FMI" code associated with a digital value to identify the type of fault.
