per hole, and tighten the union bolt (A) to the specified torque.

CAUTION:

Do not reuse copper sealing washers.

2. Install the brake pipe to the brake hose, temporarily tighten the

flare nut by hand until it does not rotate further, and attach the

brake hose to the bracket with the lock plate.

CAUTION:

Check that the brake hoses and pipes are not bent or

twisted.

3. Tighten the flare nut to the specified torque with a crowfoot and a torque wrench.

CAUTION:

Do not scratch the flare nut and the brake pipe.

4. Refill with new brake fluid and perform the air bleeding. Refer to

BR-16, "Bleeding Brake System"

.

splashed on painted areas, wash it away with water immediately.

• Do not bend, twist or pull the brake hoses and piping.

• When removing components, cover connections to avoid dirt, dust, or other foreign matter from

entering the brake system.

• Do not reuse drained brake fluid.

• After installation of the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit), refill brake system with new

brake fluid. Then bleed the air from the system. Refer to
