DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.

PRECONDITIONING

Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 12 minutes.

>> GO TO 2.

2.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.

Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 1 second.

2.

Check trip DTC.

Is DTC detected?

YES

>> Proceed to 

ECH-246, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

NO

>> INSPECTION END

1.

CHECK SENSOR POWER SUPPLY

1.

Turn ignition switch ON.

2.

Check the voltage between ECM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Check intermittent incident. Refer to 

GI-41, "Intermittent Incident"

.

NO

>> GO TO 2.

2.

CHECK SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUITS

Check harness for short to power and short to ground, between the following terminals.

V for 0.15 second or more.

(The APP sensor 2 power supply circuit)
(Intake manifold pressure sensor power 
supply circuit)
(Refrigerant pressure sensor power sup-

(Crankshaft position sensor power sup-

• Accelerator pedal position sensor 2
• Intake manifold pressure sensor
• Refrigerant pressure sensor

CHECK COMPONENTS

Check the following.
• Accelerator pedal position sensor 2. Proceed to 

ECH-196, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

• Intake manifold pressure sensor. Proceed to 

ECH-164, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

• Refrigerant pressure sensor. Proceed to 

ECH-225, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

• Crankshaft position sensor. Proceed to 

ECH-206, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Check intermittent incident. Refer to 

GI-41, "Intermittent Incident"

.

NO

>> Replace malfunctioning component.

>> Repair short to ground or short to power in harness or connectors.
