NOTE: After checking intermediate connector C-71 and 
junction block connector C-87, check the wires. If intermediate 
connector C-71 and junction block connector C-87 are 
damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to GROUP 00E, 
Harness Connector Inspection

Q: Are the harness wires between front passenger's door 

switch connector D-08 and ETACS-ECU connector C-82 
and C-86 in good condition?
YES : Replace the ETACS-ECU. The passenger's door 

switch input signal should be able to be checked and 
the functions, which are described in the "Technical 
Description (comment)," should work normally.

NO :  Repair them. The front passenger's door switch input 

signal should be able to be checked and the 
functions, which are described in the "Technical 
Description (comment)," should work normally.

STEP 8. Check rear door switch (LH) connector F-14 and 
ETACS-ECU connector C-86 for damage. 
Q: Are driver's door switch connector F-14 and ETACS-

ECU connector C-86 in good condition?
YES : Go to Step 9.
NO :  Repair or replace them. Refer to GROUP 00E, 

Harness Connector Inspection

. The rear 

door (LH) switch input signal should be able to be 
checked and the functions, which are described in the 
"Technical Description (comment)," should work 
normally.

STEP 9. Check the harness wires between rear door switch 
(LH) connector F-14 and ETACS-ECU connector C-86.
NOTE: After checking junction block connector C-87, check the 
wires. If junction block connector C-87 are damaged, repair or 
replace it. Refer to GROUP 00E, Harness Connector 
Inspection

Q: Is the harness wires between the rear door switch (LH) 

connector F-14 and ETACS-ECU connector C-86 in good 
condition?
YES : Replace the ETACS-ECU. The driver's door switch 

input signal should be able to be checked and the 
functions, which are described in the "Technical 
Description (comment)," should work normally.

NO :  Repair them. The rear door switch (LH) input signal 

should be able to be checked and the functions, 
which are described in the "Technical Description 
(comment)," should work normally.

STEP 10. Check rear door switch (RH) connector F-08 and 
ETACS-ECU connectors C-86 for damage. 
Q: Are rear door switch (RH) connector F-08 and ETACS-

ECU connectors C-86 in good condition?
YES : Go to Step 11.
NO :  Repair or replace them. Refer to GROUP 00E, 

Harness Connector Inspection

door switch (RH) input signal should be able to be 
checked and the functions, which are described in the 
"Technical Description (comment)," should work 
normally.

STEP 11. Check the harness wires between rear door 
switch (RH) connector F-08 and ETACS-ECU connectors C-
86.
NOTE: After checking intermediate connector C-71 and 
junction block connector C-78, check the wires. If intermediate 
connector C-71 and junction block connector C-78 are 
damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to GROUP 00E, 
Harness Connector Inspection
