STEP 14. Check harness between C-16 (terminal 
No. 4) fuel pump connector and body earth.

• Check earthing line for open circuit and damage.

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 15 .

NO : 

Repair.

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES :

NO : 

Replace engine-ECU.

STEP 16. Perform voltage measurement at C-16 
fuel pump connector.

• Disconnect connector and measure at harness 

side.

• Ignition switch: ON

• Voltage between terminal No. 5 and earth.

OK: System voltage

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 21 .

NO : 

Go to Step 17 .

STEP 17. Check harness between C-16 (terminal 
No. 5) fuel pump connector and B-103 (terminal 
No. 4) fuel pump relay (2) connector.

NOTE: Before checking harness, check intermediate 
connector B-128 and repair if necessary.

• Check output line for open/short circuit.

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 18 .

NO : 

Repair.

connector

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 19 .

NO : 

Repair or replace.

STEP 19. Check harness between B-141 (terminal 
No. 2) ignition switch connector and B-103 
(terminal No. 1) fuel pump relay (2) connector.

NOTE: Before checking harness, check intermediate 
connector B-129 and repair if necessary.

• Check power supply line for damage.

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 20 .

NO : 

Repair.

STEP 20. Connector check: A-08 engine-ECU 
connector

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Check intermediate connector B-110, and 

repair if necessary. If the intermediate 
connector is normal, check and repair 
harness between B-103 (terminal No. 2) fuel 
pump relay (2) connector and A-08 (terminal 
No. 81) engine-ECU connector.

• Check earthing line for damage.

NO : 

Repair or replace.

STEP 21. Connector check: B-141 ignition switch 
connector

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 22 .

NO : 

Repair or replace.

STEP 22. Check harness between B-141 (terminal 
No. 2) ignition switch connector and B-117 
(terminal No. 1) fuel pump relay (1) connector.

NOTE: Before checking harness, check intermediate 
connector B-129 and repair if necessary.

• Check power supply line for damage.

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 23 .

NO : 

Repair.

STEP 23. Check harness between battery and 
B-117 (terminal No. 3) fuel pump relay (1) 
connector.

NOTE: Before checking harness, check intermediate 
connector B-108 and repair if necessary.

• Check power supply line for damage.

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 24 .

NO : 

Repair.
