STEP 11. Check the wiring harness and terminals between 
combination meter connector C-101 (terminal 17) and the 
mode switch connector C-32 (terminal 2)

Q: Is the wiring harness between combination meter 

connector C-101 (terminal 17) and the mode switch 
connector C-32 (terminal 2) in good condition?
YES : Go to Step 12.
NO :  Repair the wiring harness. Check that the mode 

switch functions normally.

STEP 12. Measure the resistance between the combination 
meter connector C-101 (terminal 17) and the mode switch 
connector C-32 (terminal 2).
(1) Disconnect the combination meter connector C-101 and the 

mode switch connector C-32.

(2) Measure resistance between combination meter C-101 

(terminal 17) and mode switch connector C-32 (terminal 2).

• The measured value should be 2 ohm or less.

Q: Is the measured resistance 2 ohms or less?

YES : Go to Step 13.
NO :  Repair the wiring circuit and check the mode switch 

operation.

STEP 13. Check the wiring harness and terminals between 
combination meter connector C-101 (terminal 18) and the 
mode switch connector C-32 (terminal 5)

Q: Is the wiring harness between combination meter 

connector C-101 (terminal 18) and the mode switch 
connector C-32 (terminal 5) in good condition?
YES : Go to Step 14.
NO :  Repair the wiring harness. Check that the mode 

switch functions normally.

STEP 14. Measure the resistance between the combination 
meter connector C-101 (terminal 18) and the mode switch 
connector C-32 (terminal 5).
(1) Disconnect the combination meter connector C-101 and the 

mode switch connector C-32.

(2) Measure resistance between combination meter C-101 

(terminal 18) and mode switch connector C-32 (terminal 5).

• The measured value should be 2 ohm or less.

Q: Is the measured resistance 2 ohms or less?

YES : Replace combination meter and retest mode switch 

function.

NO :  Repair the wiring circuit and check the mode switch 

operation.
