REPLACING CENTER CONSOLE

  

Disassemble/assemble

Remove center console

Lay center console (1) down on suitable 
subsurface with opening pointing downward

Remove rear power window switches 
(S21/15s1) and (S21/15s2)

 Remove switch to inside and cover (2) to 

outside

Remove rear ashtray housing (3)

5

Unclip cup holder (4) from cover (5)

6

Remove cover (5) for cup holder

7

Remove inner section (6)

 Installation: Install inner section at top.

8

Separate center console on top section (7) 
and bottom section (8)

 6 screws

9

Assemble in reverse sequence

Remove/install

Remove cover on gearshift lever (1)

Remove ashtray housing (2) toward rear

 Installation: Slide ashtray housing into 

mount and catch.

Install in the reverse order

Remove, install

Open rear cupholder (1), release from center 
console and fold down

Remove screws (2)

Unclip rear section (3) at top (arrows)

Release tabs (4) at bottom

 Danger of breaking.

Pull rear section (3) away from center console

6

Unplug connectors for rear window switches

7

Install in reverse order

 Center console switch group can only be 

replaced completely.
