Inspect connector on combination meter side as
follows.

HINT : While carrying out the following inspection, make certain that the connectors and terminals are properly con-
nected.

Abnormal operation or indicator

Ground terminal D10 and turn ignition switch ON.
Does washer level warning light light up?

Is bulb OK?

Is operation normal?

Replace the circuit plate.

Inspect alternator and wire harness between D10
of meter and generator.

Replace the bulb. Then recheck system.

Replace the switch. Then recheck system.

Ground terminal B4 and turn ignition switch ON.
Does SLIP indicator light light up?

Is bulb OK?

Replace the circuit plate.

Inspect the wire harness between terminal B4 of
meter and ABS & TRAC ECU, or inspect ABS &
TRAC ECU.

Replace the bulb. Then recheck system.

Replace power source unit.

Turn the light control switch to TAIL.
Does taillight light up?

Inspect headlight and taillight system.

Connect connectors ”B” to meter.

Disconnect connector ”B” from meter.

Inspect connector on combination meter side as

follows.

 Open circuit in wire harness between terminal

   B7 of meter and ground.

 Ground faulty.

Temporarily install another circuit plate.
Is operation normal?

Replace bulb.
Then recheck system.

Replace combination
meter computer.
Then recheck system.
