Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to

Section

 414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables

.

2. Remove air conditioning compressor. For additional information, refer to

Section

 412-03 Air Conditioning

.

3. Detach the generator battery positive cable protective cover.

4. Disconnect the generator battery positive cable electrical connector.

5. Disconnect the generator electrical connector.

6. Remove the generator lower retaining bolt.

7. Remove the generator.

Remove the generator upper retaining bolts.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten to 47 Nm.

2. Tighten to 25 Nm.

3. Tighten to 12 Nm.
