Battery voltage is applied at all times through the C-5
ROOM LAMP fuse to the spot, map, courtesy, and lug-
gage room lamps.
Room Lamp
With a door open and the room lamp switch in the
DOOR position, a ground path is provided by the closed
door switch and the room lamp goes on. With the doors
closed, the room lamp can be turned on by turning the
room lamp switch to ON.
Courtesy Lamps
With a door open, a ground path is provided by the
door
switch and the door courtesy lamps go on.
Luggage Room Lamp
With the tailgate open and the luggage room lamp switch
in the DOOR position, a ground path is provided by the
closed tailgate switch and the luggage room lamp goes
on. With the hatch gate closed, the luggage room lamp
can be turned on by turning the luggage room lamp switch
to ON.
Map Lamps
When either the left or right map lamp switch is de-
pressed, battery voltage is applied to that particular
lamp and the map lamp goes on.
Vanity Mirror Lamps
The vanity mirror lamps are energized whenever the
lamp switch is in HEAD or PARK, and the vanity mirror
cover is lifted.
