Circuit Operation
The powertrain control module (PCM) receives inputs
from switches and sensors, and controls the functions of
transmission mode.
The powertrain control module
(PCM) also controls the “POWER DRIVE”, “WINTER
DRIVE”, AND “CHECK TRANS” indicator lights and al-
lows for diagnostic testing through the tech-1 connector.
Refer to Section 7 of the Workshop Manual for further
transmission diagnosis.

Circuit Operation
Voltage is applied at all times through fuse F-3 to the
horn relay. The circuit continues from the horn relay to
the SRS coil assembly and the horn switches. When a
horn switch is closed, the circuit path is completed to
ground and the horn relay energizes. The relay contact
closes and battery voltage is applied to the horns. The
horns sound.
