Description

SELF-DIAG RESULTS

Performs self-diagnosis for the auto drive positioner system and displays the results.

DATA MONITOR

Displays input signals transmitted from various switches and sensors to driver seat con-
trol unit in real time.

CAN DIAG SUPPORT MNTR

The result of transmit/receive diagnosis of CAN communication can be read.

ACTIVE TEST

Drive each output device.

ECU PART NUMBER

Displays part numbers of driver seat control unit parts.

When driving vehicle, do not perform active test.

*: Driver seat without automatic driver position system display only “SEAT SLIDE”.

Description

It operates angle of the door mirror face.
It transmits mirror face adjust operation to AUTOMATIC DRIVE POSITIONER CONTROL UNIT.

Component Function Check

CHECK MIRROR SWITCH FUNCTION

Check the operation on “MIR CON SW–UP/DN” and “MIR CON SW–RH/LH” in “DATA MONITOR” mode
with CONSULT-III.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Mirror switch function is OK.

NO

MIR-10, "Diagnosis Procedure"

 

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK MIRROR SWITCH SIGNAL

1.

Turn ignition switch ON.

2.

Check voltage between automatic drive positioner control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 6.

NO

>> GO TO 2.

CHECK MIRROR SWITCH CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit connector and door mirror remote control switch con-
nector.

3.

Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit harness connector and door mirror
remote control switch harness connector.
