FRONT PILLAR FINISHER

3.

Remove body side weather-strip retainer (1) mounting screws
(A) and clip (B), and then remove body side weather-strip
retainer (1).

4.

Remove front pillar finisher (1) fixing clips with remover tool (A).

5.

Remove front pillar finisher.

Installation

Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
If body side weather-strip is reused, remove double-faced adhesive tape from molding and body sides, clean
the applied area, and then install the parts shown in the figure into the body after applying new double-faced
adhesive tape to it.

CAUTION:

• Do not let air between contact surfaces when installing.
• To secure contact, do not wash vehicle within 24 hours after installation.

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1.

Remove door finisher. Refer to 

INT-11, "Removal and Installation"

.

2.

Remove door mirror assembly. Refer to 

MIR-50, "DOOR MIRROR ASSEMBLY : Removal and Installa-

tion"

.

3.

Twists and pull up to upper side, and then remove front door out-
side molding (1).

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
