WCS-24 < COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS > SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT Description INFOID:0000000001606830 Transmits a seat belt buckle switch signal to the unified meter and A/C amp. Component Function Check INFOID:0000000001606831 1. CHECK UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP. INPUT SIGNAL 1. Connect the CONSULT-III. 2. Select the “Data Monitor” of the “METER/M&A” and check the “BUCKLE SW” monitor value. >> INSPECTION END Diagnosis Procedure INFOID:0000000001606832 1. CHECK UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP. INPUT SIGNAL 1. Turn ignition switch ON. 2. Check voltage between unified meter and A/C amp. harness connector terminal and ground. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Replace unified meter and A/C amp. NO >> GO TO 2. 2. CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH (DRIVER SIDE) SIGNAL CIRCUIT 1. Turn ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect unified meter and A/C amp. connector and seat belt buckle switch (driver side) connector. 3. Check continuity between unified meter and A/C amp. harness connector terminal and seat belt buckle 4. Check harness continuity between unified meter and A/C amp. harness connector terminal and ground. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 3. NO >> Repair harness or connector. 3. CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH (DRIVER SIDE) GROUND CIRCUIT “BUCKLE SW” When seat belt is fastened : Off When seat belt is unfastened : On Terminal Condition Voltage (Approx.)
