Tighten: Tighten the thermostat housing bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in). 

HEATER INLET PIPE INSTALLATION

1. Install the heater inlet pipe. 

NOTE:

Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

2. Install the heater inlet pipe bolt. 

Tighten: Tighten the heater inlet pipe bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in). 

HEATER OUTLET HOSE FITTING INSTALLATION

1. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the heater

outlet hose fitting threads. 

2. Install the heater outlet hose fitting. 

Tighten: Tighten the heater outlet hose fitting to 45 N.m (33 lb ft). 

WATER OUTLET INSTALLATION 

NOTE:

Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

1. Install the water outlet.
