9. Remove the timing chain tensioner shoe bolt.  

10. Remove the timing chain tensioner shoe from the engine.

1. Position the timing chain tensioner shoe to the engine. 

2. Install the timing chain tensioner shoe bolt. 

Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). 

NOTE:

Refer to Fastener Notice .

3. Install the cylinder head access hole plug. 

Tighten: Tighten the plug to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

4. Remove the tee in the timing chain tensioner in order to regain tension on the timing chain.
