Preliminary Procedures 

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.  

2. Remove the radiator air baffle assembly. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies 

and Deflectors .

Receiver Dehydrator Screw 

Tighten: 1.6 N.m (14 lb in) 

NOTE:

Refer to Fastener Notice .

Receiver Dehydrator Screw 

Tighten: 1.6 N.m (14 lb in)

Receiver Dehydrator O-Ring 
Refer to O-Ring Replacement.

Compressor Suction Hose to TXV Nut 

Tighten: 16 N.m (12 lb ft) 

NOTE:

Refer to Fastener Notice .

Sealing Washer 
Tip: Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer 
Replacement.
