2. Install the battery retainer (3).  

3. Install the battery tray strap (2). 

4. Install the battery retainer nut (1). 

NOTE:

Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: Tighten the nut to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

5. Engage the battery strap pin (2) to the battery tray bracket stopper.

6. Install the upper battery box (2) over the battery, engage the locking tabs (1) into the lower 

battery box.

7. Connect the battery vent duct to the upper battery box (1).
