Install a scan tool. 2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. 3. Disable the window lockout function. 4. With a scan tool, command the left rear power window UP and DOWN. Does the left rear power window operate UP and Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems Go to Step 3 3 1. Turn OFF the ignition. 2. Disconnect the left rear power window switch. 3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. 4. Ensure the window lockout function is disabled. 5. Probe the window lockout signal circuit with a test lamp connected to a good ground. Does the test lamp illuminate? Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems Go to Step 4 4 Test the window lockout signal circuit for a short to Go to Step 7 Go to Step 5 Inspect for poor connections at the harness
